Animal Toy Servo Model
I began working on this project later in its development cycle. I received completed sculpt files imported into CAD and was tasked with properly mating the entire assembly. This assembly contained many parts and many of the parts involved modifications to enable proper mating. This was due to the importing of sculpt files into CAD, which created surface geometry that often does not function as intended in assemblies.
After creating the mated assembly, I was given a physical model of the toy to program to interact with a user as intended. I programmed in the model in Visual Show Automation (VSA) to mimic friendly and life-like animal behavior. Each individual model behavior was coded separately to allow for the model operator to control each movement on demand. This model was to be used in a product pitch. I was able to operate the model in the project pitch, where I directed the model to run the correct movement program at the desired time and speed.
